Who this notice covers
MadeVia.ai is a trading name of Happy Webs. This notice applies when you visit madevia.ai, create or use a MadeVia account, subscribe to Structura AI, or activate and verify a Structura AI desktop licence.
For privacy questions or requests, email support@happywebs.co.uk.
Data we collect
Account and organisation data
- Your name, work email address, organisation or workspace name, and sign-in credentials.
- Seat assignments, account role, authentication history, and subscription entitlement state.
- If you use Google sign-in, the basic profile information Google returns with your consent: name, email address, and identity identifier.
Subscription and billing data
Stripe collects and processes payment details on its hosted pages. MadeVia does not receive or store your full card number. We receive Stripe customer, checkout, subscription and invoice identifiers, seat quantity, billing status, and related tax or business details needed to administer the subscription.
Licence data
We process licence identifiers, licence status, the assigned seat, a hardware or machine identifier supplied by the desktop app, and licence verification timestamps. Licence keys are stored using a one-way hash; the full key is only shown when issued.
Service data
Our infrastructure may process standard request data such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, security signals and error logs to operate and protect the service.
What stays local
MadeVia licence services do not receive your CAD drawings, project screenshots, prompts, model responses, or third-party AI provider credentials. Structura AI is designed to keep those materials and credentials within the desktop workflow and the providers you choose.
If you separately contact support and choose to send project material, we use it only to handle that support request.
Why we use data
- To create accounts, authenticate users, and manage organisation seats.
- To start and administer trials and subscriptions, maintain billing records, and respond to failed or cancelled payments.
- To issue, bind, verify, suspend and revoke desktop licences.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, investigate faults, and maintain reliable operations.
- To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
- To respond to support messages and service requests.
Depending on the context, we rely on performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing MadeVia, compliance with legal obligations, or your consent.
Service providers
We use carefully selected providers to operate MadeVia:
- Cloudflare provides hosting, edge security and the D1 database used by MadeVia.
- Stripe provides hosted checkout, subscription billing, invoices, tax-related billing features and the customer billing portal.
- Google provides optional account authentication when you choose Continue with Google.
These providers process data under their own terms and privacy notices. Data may be processed outside the United Kingdom; where required, the provider or MadeVia uses recognised transfer safeguards.
Retention and security
We keep account and subscription records while your account is active and afterwards where reasonably required for security, dispute handling, accounting or legal obligations. Operational logs are retained for shorter periods appropriate to diagnosis and abuse prevention.
We use encrypted transport, restricted production credentials, one-way password and licence-key hashing, signed short-lived licence authorisations, role-based access and rate limiting. No system is completely secure, but we design controls around the limited data MadeVia needs.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to use of your personal data, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data protection authority; in the United Kingdom this is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
You can manage subscription payment details and cancellation through Stripe’s customer portal. To make a privacy request or close an account, contact support@happywebs.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Changes
We may update this notice as MadeVia changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision. If a change materially affects how we use personal data, we will provide an appropriate notice.
