Answer first

What Structura AI does.

Structura is the working layer between an engineer’s intent, a chosen AI model and the CAD or engineering application already in use. It reads the active visual context, proposes a bounded plan, runs only the approved route and then checks fresh evidence.

It is designed for accountable professional work: the plan is visible, computer use can be stopped, connectors are reviewed and completion requires more than a model’s assertion.

Inspect // plan // execute // verify

A controlled action loop.

Each stage has a distinct job. Inspection grounds the run in the current canvas. Planning makes the intended scope explicit. Execution uses the selected connector or bounded computer-use path. Verification asks for fresh evidence before completion.

01

Inspect

Reads fresh visual context from the active engineering canvas

02

Plan

Turns a request into a visible, bounded action plan

03

Execute

Runs approved connector or computer-use actions locally

04

Verify

Checks fresh evidence before reporting completion

Provider and data boundaries

Use the account your practice controls.

Supported routes include Google Vertex AI, OpenAI API, xAI, Mistral, Ollama. Provider credentials are stored through the operating-system keychain. Prompts and images are sent directly to the selected provider rather than proxied through MadeVia.

The MadeVia edge service handles organisation accounts, subscription state and licence authorisation. It does not receive CAD drawings, project screenshots, prompts, provider tokens or model responses through the licence service.

Optional Google sign-in

Google sign-in is an optional account method. MadeVia requests only the standard OpenID identity details needed to identify the user: provider subject, name and verified email. It does not request Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar or Microsoft 365 content.

Team subscription

£49 per seat, per month.

Pricing excludes VAT. The 7-day free trial requires a card upfront. Stripe-hosted Checkout collects payment details and the Stripe customer portal handles invoices, payment methods, seat quantity and cancellation.

Each employee seat maps to one approved machine. Signed desktop authorisation lasts 24 hours and is refreshed only while the organisation and seat remain active.

Questions

Structura AI FAQ.

What is Structura AI?

Structura AI is a desktop AI workbench for structural engineering and CAD workflows. It combines model choice, active-canvas context, bounded plans, controlled execution and fresh-evidence verification.

Does Structura AI replace engineering judgement?

No. Structura supports workflow tasks, but the engineer and their practice remain responsible for calculations, standards, checking, decisions and deliverables.

Where does project data go?

Prompts and images go directly from the desktop to the AI provider selected by the customer. MadeVia receives account and licence checks, not project screenshots, prompts, provider tokens or model responses.

Is a public installer available?

Release candidates are being qualified before public installers are published.
